Blue Bird Bebarfald Sewing machine and writing desk. This a British Empire Exhibition model. Rare piece of Australian history circa 1917-1922. Ideal for the collector or restorer. In good condition, just a sand and varnish will restore this to an excellent resaleable piece or to add to the collection. The sewing machine turns free and smooth though is missing the belt to connect to the pedal . The cabinet, as seen in the pictures, has side panel damage that can easily be repaired.
